Your appointment begins with a consultation and nursing assessment of your nails, skin integrity, circulation, mobility and pain assessment.  

Our Podortho Nurse will then provide care for foot issues such as: cracked heels/fissures, debridement for thick nails, corns, or callouses.   Your foot care ends with a moisturizing foot massage and warm essential oil infused towel.  Goals and health teaching will also be provided. 

Diabetic foot care appointment includes a comprehensive nursing foot and lower limb assessment, neuropathy screening, medical pedicure (warm foot wash, foot and nail care, foot massage & warm towel)

Patient Care Plan / Goals and preventative measures are discussed and reviewed with the client.

Ongoing nursing foot care maintenance is important for those living with diabetes.   

Onychocryptosis or "ingrown toenails." treatment includes topical anesthetic for comfort.

Ingrown toenail extraction as per RPN /Podortho Nursing scopes of practice.

Toe dressing and post care instructions provided.

Plantar warts are small lesions that can be found at the bottom of your feet or in between your toes. They are caused by the HPV virus; therefore, they are a viral infection of the skin.

 

This occurs when the virus enters the skin through an opening such as a small scrape on the plantar aspect of the feet. Plantar warts appear as small clusters (cauliflower shape), sometimes including tiny black dots which are blood vessels.

Plantar wart treatment is non-invasive and helps you save costs associated with trying over the counter products. 

Toenail fungus is assessed and option or options are provided for the best treatment for your toenail fungus. Painless, safe and tested to clear up yellow, crumbling fungal nails.

If you are already on a topical medication from your Doctor, we also provide debridement of the fungal toenail so that your medication can work optimally and speed up the health of your toenail.

Toenail Reconstruction is provided for enhancing nails due to toe nail damage, misshaped toenails or fungal infection etc.

This treatment has antimicrobial and

anti-fungal properties in its formula.

This treatment lasts 6-8 weeks.

Low Level Laser Light Therapy is a
